More cattle to be culled with blue tongue
More cattle on a Co Antrim farm found to have blue tongue disease are to be culled, it has been revealed.
Agriculture Minister Michelle Gildernew last week said a cow from the same farm which contracted the disease had been put down.
The animal had been imported from the Netherlands. A further 23 cows and four calves will now be slaughtered following further tests.
Ms Gildernew said the farm would remain under restriction.
