Moreton-in-Marsh show cancelled
Organisers said the weather had beaten the county"e;s biggest annual agricultural event.
The traditional Batsford showground is saturated following days of torrential rain and is too dangerous to let the public in.
At the 11th hour, organisers made the grim decision after a 5pm showground inspection.
Up until then it was hoped the livestock classes would go ahead, featuring horses, cattle, sheep and goats, with a few trade stands and limited catering.
