The Muller Direct Milk formula price will rise 1.247ppl from October taking both contract option standard litres over 27ppl.

The increase of increase of +1.247p/l is calculated from the August AHDB Dairy review of the five parameters used within the jointly developed Liquid Formula Contracts.

This is the second month of the largest ever increase in formula price, following a 1.172ppl rise in September.

The new standard litre prices of 27.252p/l for those supplying via the Simplified & Core Formula Contract (July/Oct 2014 applicants), and 27.442p/l for Core Formula Contracts incl the April 2014 sign up +0.19p/l premium.

If the current markets influencing the Formula parameters are sustained, then further increases will result across the coming months, according to Direct Milk DPO.
