New appointment at Alltech

Feed supplements specialist Alltech has appointed Terry McArdle as UK pig technical manager, strengthening the company's position within a key growth area for the business.

Mr McArdle has over 20 years feed industry experience, including 15 years as a pig feed specialist with BOCM Pauls. Working for Alltech, he will help to develop direct business relationships with key customers and also provide technical support to the existing sales and marketing team. He will have pig sector responsibility for all relevant brands in Alltech's range, including the natural performance enhancer Bio-Mos, the Bioplex range of organic minerals, the natural mycotoxins solution Mycosorb, and (when re-introduced soon following EU approval) the organic selenium supplement Sel-Plex.

Based at Alltech's UK headquarters, Mr McArdle will work closely with Alltech's established European pig technical manager Dr Jules Pickard and report to UK managing director Jem Clay.
