New appointment at EBLEX

A NEW Northern Regional Manager has been appointed by the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) to replace Len Chamberlain who is to retire early next year.

Clive Brown joins the EBLEX team in December from Meadow Quality Ltd where he was employed as Project Development and Marketing Manager.

He brings with him broad experience across the meat and livestock business including breeding to improve carcase quality, project management, grant aid applications and supply chain improvement.

Married with two children Clive, 41, is an experienced and award-winning stock judge and public speaker. He is also interested in and plays several sports.

Welcoming him to the organisation, EBLEX Chairman John Cross, said: "Our regional team plays a key role in communications with farmers and the meat industry and we are delighted to have recruited Clive, with his wide experience in all sectors of the industry to head up our work in the north of England."
