The impressive and brand new head office for JG Paxton and Sons, the agricultural machinery specialists and JCB franchise holders, was opened in Pity Me, Durham by Paxtons oldest living customer, Mr Roy Snowdon, 98, this week. Mr Snowdon first visited the company, formed over 150 years ago, when he was only 6 years old.
Commenting on the opening, MD John Paxton said "We are delighted with our new premises which show our commitment to the future and I thank the whole team at Paxtons for their effort and dedication. It is a great privilege to have our oldest customer with us today. We've always known at Paxtons that our successful future depends on continuing to satisfy our customers to a very high level."
Keith Bastock, JCB's Worldwide Sales Director - Agriculture said, "We appointed Paxtons four years ago and they have sold over 400 JCB machines in that time. They are one of our most successful Agricultural dealers. We have a lot in common with Paxtons because, despite our worldwide operation, JCB is essentially a family business and we share so many of the same important values with Paxtons.'
