New Holland: a complete offering of 100% biodiesel equipment

New Holland has announced that it supports B100 biodiesel use in all its equipment with New Holland engines, including electronic injection engines with common rail technology. The announcement consolidates the brand's leading position on biodiesel, ensuring its customers have the widest and most comprehensive choice of biodiesel supported machinery on the market, with 98 models – tractors, telehandlers and harvesting equipment – available to operate on B100 biodiesel, almost 80% of the entire product range.

Only the simple fitting of a filter kit is required for New Holland's machinery to run on pure biodiesel, and a specific maintenance programme. New Holland highlights the importance of using high quality biodiesel produced to EN14214 standard from a reputable supplier that can offer a consistent fuel that is traceable and sustainable.

Christian Gonzalez, New Holland marketing director, said "We are delighted to be able to make this announcement at the Biofuels Conference. Thanks to an extensive testing and development programme, we have made a leap forward, overcoming the considerable technical challenges posed by ensuring durability of the engines running on biodiesel while meeting the increasingly stringent emissions regulations. Today, New Holland offers an unrivalled number of machines that have been proven to perform reliably and safely with B100 biodiesel. We have committed to provide first-class biodiesel support for our customers, and this is further proof of that commitment."

New Holland advises that customers wishing to use B100 should speak to their dealer for advice on use, kit installation and the maintenance programme. All the details of the models that can run on B100, as well as New Holland's requirements and recommendations to do so safely, are available at all New Holland dealerships.
