New Holland has further strengthened its impressive UK dealer network with the launch of a new Agriculture dealership in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. The dealership, called RES Tractors, has operated for the past 25 years within the agricultural industry, and re-opens under the New Holland brand this month.
RES Tractors will supply the full range of New Holland agricultural equipment and ensure that customers are well serviced thanks to their dedicated staff of 16, which includes six trained Service Technicians.
Dealer Co-Principal, Kathy Skinner, who operates RES Tractors with husband Bob, said: ’We already have had tremendous support from the local community.
’We attended a local show this weekend and were very busy both days. I would like to say a big thank you to all those people who came up to the stand and congratulated us for taking on the New Holland brand. We had very positive comments and as a result we have a full week of demonstrations booked. The enthusiasm and support for New Holland and RES has been fantastic.’
Bob Skinner has a long history of supporting the Melton Mowbray farming community. He first set up RES Tractors 25 years ago and is now joined by the next generation with son, Tom. Tom has joined the business as Product Specialist and Demonstrator. He has worked for large contractors both locally and in the South. Tom has gained valuable experience on a variety of tractors and machines and brings with him much youthful enthusiasm.
New Holland’s UK Sales Manager Rob Mills said: ’We are delighted with this new partnership. The Skinners have a long and proud agricultural machinery history and no doubt the family business will continue to thrive as their son Tom comes on board.
’We believe RES Tractors will be a real asset to our dealer network. I’m sure customers will appreciate the access to New Holland’s new machines, spare parts and specialist technical servicing and I’m looking forward to seeing the dealership develop.’
