New ‘X’ generation McCormick tractors will be the star turns at two Open Day events being held by McCormick dealers Hilton Machinery and Bryan Hoggarth.
Hilton Machinery will open the doors to its premises in Pickstock near Newport, Shropshire. The agricultural engineering company supplies tractors, parts and workshop services for the McCormick range throughout Staffordshire and parts of Shropshire and Cheshire.
Ray Spinks, sales director and general manager at McCormick distributor, AgriArgo UK says: “A host of new McCormick models were unveiled last year and at the recent LAMMA show, so we’re delighted that Melanie and Julian Kearne are putting on this event so that local farmers can fully appreciate the new style and technology on these tractors.”
The Open Day on Wednesday, February 18 runs from mid-day until 9pm, with hot refreshments promised to keep visitors sustained. Free giveaways and a prize draw are also on the programme, and there will be exhibits by other manufacturers that Hilton Machinery represents – including Lely, Vogel & Noot, HiSpec, MX and Karcher – in addition to an extensive McCormick line-up.
The Annual Show staged by Lancashire-based dealer Bryan Hoggarth Ltd will be a platform for showcasing the latest tractors to join the fast-changing McCormick product line-up. It’s being held on Thursday, February 26 from 11am to 9pm, so there will be plenty of time to fit in a visit around commitments on the farm.
The sales team at The Tractor Yard, Capernway near Carnforth represents McCormick in north Lancs, south Cumbria and eastwards into the Yorkshire Dales.
Some attractive special offers on tractors and machinery are promised. For example, a tractor and loader package is already on offer, comprising a 90hp four-wheel drive with power shuttle, for just £38,000. There is also a minimum £5000 trade-in on the day for any four-wheel drive tractor in working order - contact the dealership in advance to secure an unmissable deal.
There will also be 'unbeatable offers’ on oils and filters for a range of tractor makes, and on batteries, cab glass and many more items.
Hot refreshments will be available from an on-site caterer and farmers and contractors who enter their email address in a draw get the chance to win one of many prizes.
With support from other manufacturer’s represented – including Weidemann, Shelbourne Reynolds, Lely, Amazone, Trima, Spreadwise, Browns and several more - there will be lots to see. But the new McCormick tractors will be at the heart of the event, with test drives available for serious enquiries during daylight hours.
