New step forward in precision farming
A new in-cab touchscreen display unit can access nearly double the number of satellites than current models, increasing GPS availability for farmers using precision farming technology.
The state-of-the-art Trimble® CFX-750™ display unit has an integrated GNSS receiver that supports both global navigation satellite systems GPS and the Russian equivalent GLONASS, tracking up to 44 satellites simultaneously. Users are no longer restricted by low satellite accessibility, allowing greater flexibility to carry out field operations at any time of the day.

"There are two live video feeds on the CFX-750™ display that greatly improve operator visibility with views of the implement being pulled behind the vehicle. The 20.3 cm wide CFX-750™’s capabilities include:

• Built-in 220 channel GNSS receiver GPS and GLONASS capable;
• Field-IQ™ crop input control systems for precision spraying, spreading, strip-till and planting;
• Wireless data transfer capability between the field and office using Connected Farm solutions;
• Manual and automated guidance with the AgGPS® EZ-Steer® Assisted Steering System and AgGPS® Autopilot™ Automated Steering System; and
• Feature mapping and record keeping capabilities.
The CFX-750™ is available from Trimble distributors AS Communications and Soilessentials. Prices start at £2,395 + VAT for the EGNOS option, £3,950 = VAT for the OmniSTAR HP/XP and £7,060 + VAT for the RTK version with internal radio.
