New Zealand farmer confidence is continuing to improve.

The latest bi-monthly Rabobank/Nielsen Rural Confidence Survey shows the number of farmers expecting rural economic conditions to worsen has almost halved.

Rabobank's general manager for rural New Zealand, Ben Russell, says it's the fourth survey in a row to show overall improvement in farmer sentiment, which is being led by confidence in the dairy sector.
