NFU unwraps arly christmas present

The NFU has unwrapped its new headquarters in time for Christmas.

More than 650 crates were delivered from London at the weekend. The NFU’s 108 staff walked through the doors of the 2,300 square metre sandstone building on Monday and are now busy unpacking.

NFU President, Tim Bennett, said: “This project has been two years in the making. It seems a long time ago when we first discussed our plans to move to Warwickshire.

“Now, thanks to thousands of man hours and five removal lorries we have walked into the most magnificent new building. We are really looking forward to 2006 and continuing to promote the interests of our members from our new headquarters.”
