Nickerson barley breeder Mark Glew and product manager Lee Robinson enjoy a celebratory glass of beer brewed from Westminster malting barley which has just been awarded full approval by the IBD (Institute of Brewing and Distilling) for the production of malt for brewing.
"This is good news for malting barley growers," commented Mr Glew. "Westminster is a very high-yielding spring malting barley with excellent all-round disease resistance."
