Nigeria: U.S. to Transfer Farming Skills to Country

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Maximising Agricultural Revenue in Key Enterprises and other Targeted Sites (MARKETS) Project in Nigeria has announced that it will transfer farming technologies to the rural farmers in Nigeria.

Managing Director, MARKETS, Dr. Dick Cook, made the statement at a press briefing on the progress made on the project in Abuja.

He said the project is facilitating the transfer of improved technologies and management practices both on input and output market linkages and promoting farming as a business by creating demand- driven competitive on-farm production.
