DAIRY FARMERS IN TROUBLE.

William Cromie, the chairman of the Ulster Farmers Union, believes that farmers in the dairy industry will lose millions in the month of January.

He said "producers will suffer losses of as much as 17 million euros for the month, based on the current situation and the cost of winter feed. While dairy processors are buying milk at bargain prices month after month".

Cromie estimates, that there will be 150 million litres of milk produced by his members in the month of January.

Dairy farmers are in trouble on a global basis, just as the pig industry is sorting itself out, the dairy industry is in turmoil.
