Organisers turn attention to wider farming industry
With no livestock at this year's AgriScot, organisers are focusing sharply on building the business credentials of the event on 14 November at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston.
It aims to appeal to both trade and a wide cross-section of farmers eager to seek out the latest products, services, advice and information necessary for their farming businesses.
The Highland Hall will host the main trade stand area and also feature virtual stock judging and a major presence by event sponsor, Bank of Scotland Corporate. Machinery and equipment will be displayed in the Lowland Hall and in the Central Hall, which would normally house the cattle entries, there will be a series of technical demonstrations on feed mixing and using farm-grown feed.
