Paap cites need to pass farm bill
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — When Congress returns after its Thanksgiving break, pressure to pass a farm bill yet this year intensifies.
The U.S. House passed its version of the five-year farm bill in July, but the $286 billion measure in the U.S. Senate is hung on the floor having failed a vote to close debate on it Nov. 16.
