PAVA milling facilities see higher overall output with
New grain processing techniques developed by Altay company PAVA allowed to introduce a truly innovative flour grade "Zhitnitsa" on the Russian and overseas markets. According to the company specialists, the product turns out a great benefit for overall economic performance of the milling production. Apart from extracting all valuable substances from wheat grain, it also leads to improving output rates.
"With "Zhitnitsa" flour incorporated in our regular manufactured assortment, we can achieve certain productivity gains", says Andrey Ananin, Managing Director of PAVA. "It appears that through deeper processing of wheat there is the potential to improve production efficiency from 76 to 78%".
Bakers and confectioners, co-operating with PAVA, have already noted the unprecedented growth of bakery yield provided by the new flour. Due to higher water absorption level and unique composition of "Zhitnitsa", the producers saw output rise up to 146% which reduced the cost of flour consumption per 1 tonne of finished goods.
PAVA, the company with strong positions in Russian milling sector and flour exports, is currently adding new businesses with the aim to build up a vertically integrated chain. Launch of "Zhitnitsa" is viewed as the first step to a more efficient, high-margin advanced wheat processing.
