PAVA mills certified to produce wholemeal wheat flour

Two mills of major Russian grain processor PAVA, located in Achinsk and The Mikhailovsky district, have obtained certificates for manufacturing wholemeal flour. These documents ensure that the company’s technological process fully complies with the state standard requirements, and confirm PAVA strong position on the milling market.

According to the market survey conducted by PAVA specialists, many baking plants in Russia have shown interest in this product, as current consumer demand is tending towards healthy food choices. Wholemeal flour is a great source of protein, vitamins and fibre, and has multiple applications in the dietary and diabetic ration. Besides, it is an enhancement measure for the profitability of baking business.

Soon the company expects to obtain similar documents for Rebrikha mill. This structural unit conducts selection of wheat germ during the milling process, and since it is planned to start production of wheat germ flour in Rebrikha, the company specialists prepare for certification for this new product.

Present-day strategy of the Altay grain processor focuses on innovative diversification of the assortment. In early 2009 PAVA has developed its own quality standard for the unique protein-rich flour grade "Zhitnitsa", later obtaining a certificate of conformance and conformance declaration, which enabled shipments of this product both in Russia and abroad.
