Pawar tells farmers to use modern techniques to boost output

AKOLA: Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar on Saturday advised farmers to adopt modern farm technology to boost production and usher second green revolution.

He said the country would not prosper in the field of agriculture unless farmers take up parallel line of business like dairy farming.

Pawar was speaking at the concluding function of the 'Agro Technology Week' and an agricultural exhibition organised by Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV) here.
