Also on the PLOCHER stand is an independent consultant, Dr Andrea Beste, Agronomist, from the Institute for Soil Conservation and Sustainable Agriculture www.gesunde-erde.net . She will be on hand to give advice on the conservation and sustainable management of your soils… your most valuable business asset.
PLOCHER-Products, created and produced by ROLAND PLOCHER® Technology take a holistic approach. They are fully sustainable, and economically and ecologically sound. The product range for agriculture embraces
Soil – Water – Crops – Livestock – Manure and Slurry
They promote and improve the:
Natural Life Cycle of Production
=
Fight Causes not Symptoms
=
Less Expenditure-Better Quality Produce-more Profit!
Of particular interest to soil management is slurry and manure management: for example. Even the best slurry management is not good enough if the slurry is fermenting (ie anaerobic - without oxygen) Beneficial microbes cannot thrive in these conditions, instead pathogenic bacteria, harmful acids and deadly gases are produced, attracting a wide range of pests and fungal diseases when spread on the land.
PLOCHER-slurry and manure products applied direct in the housing, provides the missing elements including oxygen, which helps to compost (aerobic - with oxygen) slurry and manure into valuable "home grown" fertiliser. These are not bugs, bacteria or enzymes.
After harvest, faster decomposition of trash is ensured by using Plocher Soil Activator. This product also restores soil health, hygiene and fertility by actively building humus levels, to provide more vitality in the next crop.
PLOCHER-Products are suitable for use in organic systems and are approved for use under EU Organic Agriculture 2092/91 EWG.
