Protesters have protested to the National Trust at the sale of an English farm once owned by Beatrix Potter.
The property in the Lake District is being subdivided and sold off.
When Beatrix Potter died in 1943, she left the 450 acre estate in Cumbria to the National Trust.
The man who has been farming the land in the Lake District for the past 40 years is Johnnie Berkett, 71 who is now retiring.
The National Trust says the farm is no longer viable and will be split up and sold in lots with the original farmhouse being let.
