RABDF announces Dairy Student of the Year new sponsor

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has announced specialist agriculture food and land based business recruitment consultancy, De Lacy Executive as the new sponsor for its annual RABDF Dairy Student of the Year award.

De Lacy Executive’s support will enable the continuity of RABDF’s prestigious award with £1,000 at stake, and which this year has attracted students from 14 different education establishments throughout the UK. Following a preliminary round of interviews at Reaseheath College of Agriculture, the semi-finalists will meet with DairyUK, whilst the four finalists will make a formal presentation in London in March.

De Lacy Executive’s director, John Davies, commented: “We are extremely pleased to support this award which will enable us to put something back in to the dairy sector. We will be able to demonstrate our commitment to supporting the next generation working in what is one of the most technologically progressive farming sectors and to reward high achievement.”

RABDF chief executive, Nick Everington said: “Rewarding success and achievement, and promoting career opportunities in the dairy sector are key activities for our association. We are delighted De Lacy Executive has agreed to support our award which helps to identify some of the most intelligent and highly motivated young producers who we are confident will help to secure the future for British dairy farming.”
