Rachel’s Organic extend relationship with Welsh organic milk co-operative

Rachel's Organic, Wales' leading organic dairy company, has formed a distribution agreement with Welsh organic milk co-operative Calon Wen to facilitate Rachel's Organic van deliveries to stockists in Wales.

This distribution agreement will further develop the partnership between Britain's first organic dairy and the Welsh organic milk co-operative, which currently supplies the Aberystwyth plant with all their milk.

Calon Wen Organic Foods, formerly known as Frontline Organics, will have three new vans co-branded with the Rachel's Organic logo to service all deliveries and ensure exceptionally high levels of customer service remain in place.

The new agreement offers important new efficiencies for both organisations. Most importantly, it will help reduce overall food miles and also off-set future increases in transport costs, helping prevent undue price rises.

Calon Wen recently bought Frontline Organics – now re-branded as Calon Wen Organic Foods – as part of its on-going programme of promoting Welsh organic produce.
