Rural lettings growth
BCM’s Rural Lettings Department is going from strength to strength and has seen a 40% growth in the number of dwellings let over the last 12 months. This growth has come on the back of significant upgrading and streamlining of their computerised management system and investing in training.
BCM’s specialism in rural lettings means they can offer a service specifically tailored to rural property owners. Their access to national internet marketing tools prove invaluable when letting property. Coupled with this, a dedicated team of independent maintenance and repair contractors are able to offer an unrivalled service in the locality to BCM’s clients.
Sue How of BCM comments "We pride ourselves on being able to offer a bespoke service which can be tailored to each client’s specific needs. Through our focus on rural lettings, we have built up a thorough understanding of the type of tenant our rural clients prefer and the issues that may arise through being located in the middle of farms and estates. We place particular emphasis in vetting tenants in terms of their suitability to the surrounding rural enterprise. All our lettings team are committed to a high level of customer service and the increasing number of properties we are taking on through ’word of mouth’ is testament to the level of service we provide. We also have the benefit of close liaison with the rural management team at BCM meaning that we can provide advice on broader issues such as changes to regulations and the market generally. We regularly pull in the services of our architectural and design team who can oversee building projects and rental property improvement programmes efficiently and cost effectively."
Alastair Wilson, partner in charge of lettings at BCM adds: "We are delighted that our focus on letting rural property and the knowledge we have built up as a result sets us apart when looking at letting houses and cottages in rural locations in southern England".
