Rural minister to open NFU office
An invitation is being extended to all NFU Cymru members in the Aberystwyth area to drop in and visit the newly refurbished office on Friday, 12 November 2010, which is to be officially opened by the Rural Affairs Minister, Elin Jones.
From 2.30pm onwards all members and any interested new members of NFU Cymru are invited for light refreshments and a tour of the office. Cathy Davies and her team at the office on Pier Street will also be available for any questions.
Elin Jones AM, the Rural Affairs Minister, will officially open the new office at 2.30pm, unveiling a plaque. Elin Jones said, "I was pleased to be able to accept the offer to officially open NFU Cymru’s office in Aberystwyth, my local area, and I’m sure the new facilities will be of great help to NFU Cymru members in the area."
Aberystwyth NFU Cymru Group Secretary Cathy Davies said, "The new office is much bigger to accommodate our expanding business. It is also conveniently located in the town centre. This will mean a much better and more flexible service for NFU Cymru members and insurance customers. We are very grateful to the Minister for agreeing to come and officially open our office."
