Russia-Farming self sufficient by 2020.

SELF CONTAINED BY 2020.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture in Russia, the share of food products for the domestic market will be 80% produced by local farmers, by the year 2020.

The nation will be self sufficient in poultry, pork and potato’s, they will be 90% self sufficient in dairy products and 80% self sufficient in vegetable oil and fish.

The one area that will not be self sufficient, is production of beef and Russia will still have to rely on large imports.

These figures and projections, were published in Moscow by the government.
