Schering-Plough Animal Health has announced the appointment of Dr. Sarah Rennie as Technical Business Manager for the company's Poultry division in the UK.
Working with producers in the UK, Sarah will manage the commercial field trials for Paracox 5 and Paracox 8. Additionally Sarah will be responsible for developing the company's existing Paracox vaccine support programmes, which include customer training, product advice and auditing protocols.
Sarah joins the company following an extensive career in research and animal health. A PhD from Edinburgh University, Sarah worked with the world-renowned team at the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, where for ten years she undertook research projects specialising in poultry nutrition. Subsequently Sarah was appointed poultry consultant at ADAS and worked on a number of key DEFRA projects and provided advice to leading commercial and retail businesses.
Welcoming her appointment to the business, UK Poultry Director David Schofield confirmed "We are delighted that Sarah has joined the business, her significant experience will assist the company in driving technical improvement through to producers and exploiting the growing scope of the Paracox portfolio."
