Plans for a second Dairy-Tech event have been confirmed following the success of this year's event.
Show organisers the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) have confirmed the plans, which will see the show continue at Stoneleigh Park on Wednesday 6 February 2019.
RABDF chairman Mike King said the feedback from both visitors and exhibitors had exceeded everyone’s expectations.
He said it highlighted the need for a technical event focusing on the innovation and technology that will be key in driving the sector forward.
“Over 77% of visitors had buying power, which meant the quality of leads taken amongst exhibitors was high,” Mr King explained.
“Revising the conference session formats and creating two brand new speaker hubs was a great success with standing space only for many of the slots, between 75% and 90% of survey respondents left positive comments on the reformat of the seminars and workshops.”
'Well received'
Matthew Knight, RABDF managing director, said the return of an RABDF event to Stoneleigh had been "extremely well received", confirming the decision to hold Dairy-Tech at the popular agricultural showground.
He said: “Feedback from the event and advisory board guidance will mean, for 2019, we will be replacing the Blackdown sheds with Hall 2 allowing for extra stand space and a warmer exhibiting environment.
“88% of exhibitors said they would rebook whilst over 90% of visitors said they would return to the show, it will therefore be our priority to build on this year’s success to ensure we continue to deliver an event that fulfils the requirements of the modern-day dairy professional.”
Stand space went on sale earlier this week and all exhibitors from this year’s event will have six weeks to re-book under a loyalty rate.
