Leading breeding company Semex UK has announced a new package targeting producers aiming to maximise profitability over the long term. The package includes four top sires of sons with an impressive range of scores – all the animals rank within the Top 10 on the Canadian Lifetime Profitability Index (LPI) and boast Type Merits of over +2.00 and more than 600kgs milk.

The four bulls - Kerndtway Howie, Braedale Pagewire, R-E-W Buckeye and Karona Bonair - have been selected to optimise and deliver on the breeding requirements for today's modern dairymen, with winning scores on type, yields, deviations, health and longevity.

Outstanding newcomer Kerndtway Howie ranks No3 in the LPI index and combines high production with exceptional type. Braedale Pagewire has a very long lasting type profile with high milk, positive protein % and near level fat% to push up yields. R-E-W Buckeye, with an elite health pattern, high milk, fat and protein yields, has exceptional feet and legs for improved locomotion and increased herd life. Finally, Karona Bonair's impeccable pedigree produces animals with excellent legs with quality udders for longevity.

Customers can select any three bulls from the four in this package at a price of £25/straw, providing each is purchased in equal quantities, and will receive an additional 20% free straws on the purchase.
