Sizzle a steak for your Valentine

ENGLAND AWAKE - and put the sizzle back into your sex life with a home cooked steak dinner and a message on a special website.

That is the challenge from the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) as Saint Valentine's Day (Feb 14) draws near.

In an EBLEX poll 54 per cent of English people questioned said they believe a home cooked steak dinner is the recipe to put their partner in a passionate mood.

And to help you hit the right spot on the 14th EBLEX has set up a special website -www.itsonthetable.co.uk - from which messages can be sent to entice your partner home with the promise of something special on the dining room table.

The site also contains several mouth watering recipes using Quality Standard beef and lamb.

Behavioural Psychologist Donna Dawson, said: "The protein in steak revives flagging energy levels making us more alert and responsive. We are now open to more evening options than just sitting in front of the TV."
