Store sheep show good trade in Australia
There were 18,000 store sheep yarded at Jerilderie in NSW last Friday, buyers came out of the woodwork at last, with a great demand for merino ewe hoggets.
Ewe hoggets made up to 66 euros apiece and there was no difficulty in clearing everything.
The is the first upward trend in the store sheep market in months, the recent rains have put a little hope back into the trade.
