Supertrac plus from Spraycare

The Supertrac Plus, a 3000-litre 12/24 metre self-tracking trailed sprayer, is the latest addition to the Spraycare range of spraying equipment.

It has a fully hydraulic heavy-duty boom operating at 12 and 24 metres with manual 20-metre fold and 2-metre break back.

The 3 dimensional heavy-duty box section boom is mounted to a rigid height mast with outer rollers and adjustable slide plates for height control. A double pivoting back frame acting as a pendulum system has been developed for extra boom stability. Standard two-way tilt ram and shock absorbers are fitted for boom levelling.

An anti-yaw frame is positioned within the back frame allowing the boom to move in fore and aft directions with rubber pads to cushion the action. An outer boom lock is fitted to the boom within the folding position to prevent it breaking away.

The self-tracking drawbar allows the sprayer to follow the tractor precisely. The computer-controlled system has hydraulic override where the front rams come into action when the rear rams are at full stroke, allowing the tightest turning circle for minimal damage in crops.

The in-cab controls allow the operator to switch to either field or road mode with the use of centralising lights in the control panel. for automatic rea1ignment. The road mode allows the rear rams to be locked and the front rams are used as the forward pivot for safety while on the road.

Four-section electrically operated motorised ball valves coupled with a Teejet 844 and multi-functional digital display provides automatic control, flow, application rate, forward speed, spray pressure and tip capacity. Warning lights alert the operator of an emergency and changes that may affect spraying can be monitored.

A large protective clothing locker and hand-wash tank are fitted.

Self-cleaning flushing filters and triplet nozzle bodies are standard features together with 6 metres of suction hose and filter.
