NESTLES PROFITS UP.

Nestles food, the words largest food and drink company, saw profits increase by 6.1%in the first half of the year 2008.

Profits came in at US$4.93billion for the six months.

Nestles pioneered the hamburger industry in the UK in the late sixties, with their companies Findus Frozen Foods and Ross Foods.

The meat catering side of the Nestles operations, was instrumental in pioneering portion controlled steaks and cutlets, ensuring that all steaks served in restaurants and hotels weighed the same and looked identical.
