UNITED STATES-NEW MEAT LINE FROM NESTLES.

Nestle USA brand Lean Cuisine announced the debut of 15 new or reformulated meals targeting consumers trying to maintain a nutritious diet and a budget.

The offerings all have fewer than 360 calories and 9 grams of fat or less. Suggested retail prices range from $2.69 to $3.49.

The four new entrees are:

Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Chicken: White meat chicken, cavatappi pasta, zucchini, black olives and Parmesan cheese tossed in a sun-dried tomato pesto sauce

Beef Chow Fun: Strips of beef over a bed of flat noodles with snap peas, red peppers and water chestnuts tossed in a sweet and spicy Asian-style sauce

Pasta Romano with Bacon: Bow tie pasta with fire-roasted tomato sauce and bacon, topped with Romano cheese

Linguine Carbonara: Linguine pasta with bits of bacon, red and green peppers, peas, and basil tossed in a creamy Parmesan sauce

Reformulated meals include Chicken Marsala, Fiesta Grilled Chicken and Beef Pot Roast, among others.
