Tenant farmers roadshow focuses on managing in volatile times
The Tenant Farmers Association will be out on the road during February with its nationwide road show of spring evening meetings which are on the theme of financial management in volatile times, held in conjunction with Lloyds TSB Agriculture.
TFA National Chairman Greg Bliss said "The past 12 months have seen dramatic changes in the price of commodities and inputs which is why we are focusing this road show on financial management in volatile times. We want to make sure that tenant farmers are given the best possible advice about planning their finances for the future, whether this is considering rent reviews, succession or any building works which they may be planning to carry out, especially those who are in NVZ areas. We are delighted that Lloyds TSB Agriculture is sponsoring the road show and will be speaking at all the meetings as they bring a wealth of experience and expertise on these matters."
Paul Spencer, Agriculture Director for Lloyds TSB said "We remain committed to supporting the farming industry and especially so in challenging times. Our relationship with our customers is very important to us and we are pleased to be supporting the TFA Spring meetings. The meetings will give us the chance to discuss with farmers the various strategies and ideas that will help them cope with the volatility that affects a farm business."
At each meeting there will be specialist agriculture managers from Lloyds TSB Agriculture, the TFA’s panel of Recommended Professionals and a representative from the TFA. The meetings, which all start at 7:30pm will take place as follows:
