TFA 25th anniversary conference proceedings

The Tenant Farmers Association is pleased to make publicly available transcripts of all the papers and discussion forums from its 25th Anniversary Conference held at Lords Cricket Ground on the 24 October 2006.

The papers can be accessed from the TFA's website www.tfa.org.uk where there will be a link through to a dedicated Conference page with all the transcripts.

The transcripts will include the papers delivered by Defra Minister Lord Rooker, Natural England Deputy Chairman Poul Christensen, CLA President David Fursdon, Hampshire tenant Farmer Charlie Flindt and Professor Philip Stott's excellent resume of the current political and scientific issues surrounding climate change. His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales kindly recorded a video message which was used as the keynote address for the Conference and both the transcript and video recording are available on the website.

TFA Chief Executive George Dunn said "Our Anniversary Conference was a great success. Some six weeks on we are still receiving some very favourable comments about the content and tone of the Conference. A number of leading individuals within the agricultural industry have said that the TFA's Anniversary Conference ranked among the best that they had attended. We are therefore very pleased to make publicly available the transcripts of the papers and discussion forums for all to access".

The photograph shows TFA National Chairman, Reg Haydon and his wife Jill following Mr Haydon's investiture of his OBE at Buckingham Palace at the end of last week.
