The Hall’s monthly machinery auction attracted top prices for four Case tractors, which came to the auction from a local farm.
Top prices of the day went to the four Case tractors, which came to the auction straight from a local farm. A Y registration Case MX170 4wd sold for £13,200, a 52 registration Case MX170 4wd with Tremble Easy Ride and GPS System made £12,700, a 2003 registration Case MX170 4wd sold for £12,500 and the Case CX90 4wd made £8,200.
Other sales in the tractor section were £2,250 for a Massey Ferguson 135, £2,000 for a Kubota B2400 compact tractor, £1,750 for a MF50 digger and £1,400 for a forklift.
Stars of the vehicles section were Land Rover Discoverys at £820 and £620 and a Daihatsu Hi Jet pickup at £650.
Ifor Williams models dominated the trailers section, with a tri axle model making £2,300, a horse trailer selling for £1,450, a flat bed trailer making £900 and another trailer selling for £880.
A 60ft x 30ft shed made £1,500 in the farm implements section, which also included a Parmiter post knocker at £1,200, a 11-ton trailer at £900 and a Westmac mower at £720.
Both the small tools and timber and building materials section saw a good trade, with a three phase Wadkin Bursgreen wood planing machine selling for £530.
