TV presenter to speak at conference

TV presenter and author Tristam Stuart has been confirmed as one of the speakers at the EBLEX, BPEX and FABRA Fifth Quarter conference next month.

Tristam, who is presenting a major television series in September on minimising food waste, will join a line-up of nine other industry experts to speak at the conference, entitled ’Fifth quarter: Go green for more profit’.

The conference will take place at the Ramada Warwick hotel, on 8th September 2010.

Jean-Pierre Garnier, Head of Exports for EBLEX and BPEX said: "This conference aims to encompass the whole meat supply chain from farm to fork, and we are looking forward to getting Tristam Stuart’s input into the debate.

"The use of offal and fifth quarter products is a highly topical issue and of great economic relevance to the UK meat sector. This conference offers a unique opportunity to move the issue forward."
