Twenty-three sheep stolen from Devon farm
Twenty-three sheep have been stolen from a farm in North Devon, and police are now searching for any information.
The sheep were stolen by rustlers from a dairy farm in Chittlehampton, between January 14-17 2018.
The stolen sheep are a mixture of male and female sheep, they are Suffolk Cross and Blue Face Leicester cross breeds with black and white faces.
Devon Police are reminding members of Farm Watch to ensure that they check any livestock regularly.
It follows news of over 300 lambs stolen from a Suffolk farm over Christmas in Suffolk.
And in April last year, 450 Cherviot sheep were reported stolen from a hill farm in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, with a total worth of £60,000.
Attacks on livestock in the UK is becoming 'more and more of a problem' as rural police stations face closure, according to a report.
