United Kingdom-Milk Prices cut.
FARMER co-op Dairy Farmers of Britain, with headquarters in Cheshire, has cut its milk price by a further 1.1p per litre from last Thursday, increasing the total scale of its price cuts to 3.1ppl since November. NFU dairy board chairman Gwyn Jones said: "Our members are telling us that they are deeply concerned by this latest price cut, which was unexpected and which has been hastily imposed. DFB must be very clear and open with its members about the reasons behind these cuts and re-assure farmers about the future strategy of the company."
