UNITED KINGDOM-UK conveying company gets major pet food deal .

Processing group Clyde Processing Solutions in the UK got a £1M order from a leading US food company. Its subsidiary Mac Equipment will supply systems to transport flour in a pet food plant.

Clyde will install two extra processing lines, and the food firm plans to be able to operate these by the end of the year.

Clyde Process Solutions PLC specialises in developing pneumatic conveying systems, which are an energy efficient and environmentally sustainable alternative to mechanical technologies. Pneumatic conveying solutions utilise controlled streams of air to move granular or particle-based bulk materials through various stages of a production process at a controlled rate of flow.
