PEDIGREE LIMOUSIN SALES TOTAL OVER FIVE MILLION POUNDS.
Figures released from the British Limousin Cattle Society, show that sales of pedigree stock for 2008 came in at over five million pounds.
In the year there were a total of 15 sales organized, from 22 different breeding herds throughout the country.
The highest price paid was 50,000 guineas for a bull at Carlisle in October, while the highest price for a female was 41,000 guineas, at a dispersal sale in February
