UNITED KINGDOM-

PLANNING application for a plastic polytunnel to house sheep will be considered by Herefordshire Council planners next week.

J Bishop, of Lavenger Bank, Petty France, near Ledbury, has made the application to put the structure in a field next to his bungalow.

The polytunnel is intended for use as a shelter during the lambing season. One neighbour has objected, citing the impact on neighbouring properties, but planning officers say the proposals is "justifed and reasonably required".

At a meeting of the northern area planning subcommittee on Wednesday, March 11, members are being recommended to approve the plan.
