UNITED STATES-GRAIN TO SOUTH KOREA.
Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 100,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to South Korea during the 2008/2009 marketing year, the USDA said Monday.
The 2008/2009 marketing year for corn began September 1.
U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of any commodity made in the same day to the same destination by 3:00 p.m. EDT (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA’s Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
