JBS-Swift has agreed to pay fines of $48,000, in relation to pollution at their plant in Butchers-town Kentucky.

The court documents showed that there were also complaints, in relation to smells emitting from the processing plant at unacceptable level.

The company has to correct the situation, by improving the odor and ensure there is no re-occurrence of the situation.
