Birdseye Foods, part of the giant Unilever Group, are launching new food products in the United States.There will be a variety of chicken and fish meals for two, that are steamed but can be cooked in a microwave in 10 minutes.

Birdseye, used to be the biggest cow beef buyers in England, handling over 1,000 carcass’s per week.Their meat plants at Great Yarmouth and Liverpool, boned cows for processing all year except for six weeks each summer.The plants would then convert to vegetable lines, processing frozen peas, beans and baby carrots.

When the harvest was over it was back to beef. Birdseye Beef Burgers were this first national brand of burgers in the UK, followed by Findus and Ross Foods.
