United States-New pork plant for Mexico.

NEW PORK PLANT.

Seaboard Corp from Kansas USA, are building a new pork and ham plant in Reynosa Mexico, with an annual projected production of 28,000 tons of cured pork product per year.

The plant will employ 175 staff and be operational by 2009.

The new plant costing $10 million to build and will target the Mexico domestic market and export product to the US, the plant is only 60 km from the Texas border.
