Vietnam Assaults Avian Flu

Vietnam ordered urgent preventive measures, facing propagation of bird flu in 10 provinces, because it has already affected human beings.

The National Center for Struggle against the so-called bird flu established preventive rules, creating groups to supervise the lethal pathology and strictly control transportation and import of poultry and its derivatives.

Official sources said the rules respond to a tendency of infection with the H5N1 virus.

The measures include speeding up publication by the media of the dangers of this disease and its prevention, as well as imposing sanctions on those who try to conceal new outbreaks in any territory and do not comply with the stipulated measures
