POULTRY VACCINATIONS.

The government of Vietnam announced on Monday a plan to spend US$7 million immediately on a vaccine for poultry.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Cao Duc Phat, has sent an urgent message to all regions of the country, asking local governments to ensure that all poultry are vaccinated.

This comes in the wake of the outbreaks of bird flu, that have swept across the region in recent months affecting India, China, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
